UK Overhead Crane and Hoist Maker and Major Saudi Industrial Group form Strategic Alliance

(openPR) - Juffali Heavy Equipment Company (JHECO), based in Jeddah, and Street Crane Company from the UK have joined forces to produce cranes of up to 200 tonnes for industrial undertakings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. JHECO, part of the Juffali Group, is one of the largest commercial enterprises in Saudi Arabia with interests in power generation, construction, insurance, telecommunication, vehicle manufacture and distribution. Street Crane, based in Derbyshire in the UK, manufactures and is a major exporter of hoists and components for overhead cranes. The new appointment gives them a significant presence in the growing Middle East market. Under the agreement JHECO will use Street Crane’s hoists and major electro-mechanical system with heavy structural elements fabricated in the JHECO factory.
