| Juffali Heavy Equipment Company (JHECO) has been appointed by Street Crane Company as their exclusive representative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. |
JHECO, part of the Juffali Group, is one of the largest commercial enterprises in Saudi Arabia with interests in power generation, construction, insurance, telecommunication, vehicle manufacture and distribution. Street Crane, based in Derbyshire in the UK, manufactures and is a major exporter of hoists and components for overhead cranes. The new appointment gives them a significant presence in the growing Middle East market.
Under the agreement JHECO will use Street Crane’s hoists and major electro-mechanical system with heavy structural elements fabricated in the JHECO factory. Sales director Gus Zona commented, “The Middle East, and the Gulf states in particular, are major users of Street Crane hoist equipment, but to date we have had no representation in Saudi Arabia. We are pleased to have such a high profile partner who is deeply involved in manufacturing infrastructure and industrial development of the Kingdom.”
The Juffali Group have a policy of partnering with world class suppliers and already have collaborative ventures with Daimler-Benz, Carrier, Ericsson, Siemens and other leading international companies. There are also other synergies in the agreement; both Street Crane and the Juffali Group are privately owned family-led businesses that have been trading successfully for over 60 years. The agreement with JHECO brings the world-wide network of Street Crane partners to 44.
